El Paso Music Learning Corner was founded in 1993 by professional guitarist Mario Otero and his wife Hortensia. The newlywed couple dedicated their lives to one common dream- spreading the joy of music to the people around them. Twenty-eight years later, The Learning Corner now stands as a cornerstone of our community. We have cultivated musical passion and excellence in the hearts of many generations past, and will continue to do so for those to come.

El Paso Music Learning Corner does not require semester minimums for lessons. Every student is on a month-to-month basis.

We are the only music school in the region that offers picture day! Our team of professional photographers is committed to snapping amazing photos of students performing and posing with their instruments.

The Musical Ladder System is a unique method of teaching wherein students are awarded certificates and colorful wristbands for each musical accomplishment. It keeps our students excited and motivated to learn. They love it!

New Mexico born and Texas bred, Mario Otero holds a reputation as one of the greatest guitarists of our region. With a background in classical and jazz guitar, Otero has captivated audiences worldwide, as demonstrated by his grammy-nominated duo, La Vienta.
Today, he strives to share his passion by sparking joy and enthusiasm for music in the hearts of those in his community.

Sign up is easy and parent-friendly, with helpful staff at the front desk six days a week to serve you. Since we offer lessons on a month-to-month basis, there are no large upfront payments, no complicated contracts, no annual material fees, and no semester minimums.

PRICING:
$35 / 30 minutes
Lessons are available six days a week, and scheduled once a week.
A one-time registration fee is $25 (due only at time of registration).
